If you're reading this... congratulations. You made it through New Year’s Eve in the Florida Keys — the conch shells, the fireworks, the spontaneous dance circles, and the glitter you’ll be finding for weeks. You might even remember some of it.

But now, it’s January 1st. The air is soft. The sky is a watercolor of coral and cream. And the world just feels… wide open.

🥱 Waking Up Slow

Here in the Keys, we don’t believe in rushing into the new year. We believe in wandering into it, coffee in hand, barefoot, and still wearing yesterday’s party beads.

Some folks paddleboard out to greet the sunrise. Others wander to Cuban Coffee Queen for a cafecito and a new lease on life. Me? I’m halfway through a leftover piece of Key lime pie and thinking about a nap I haven’t earned yet.
